These Vintage Dark Lug Pots were originally handcrafted c1940s from dark earthenware with four rounded handles. Originally used to store and cool drinking water, the pots are unglazed and decorated only by the irregular, organic smoke patterns imparted by the firing process. Display as a decorative object or use as a flower vase or planter.

This item is not water safe by modern standards so we suggest using a water container inside for floral displays. 

Each piece is unique so will vary just slightly.
