One of the best parts of this job is unpacking the gorgeous new arrivals every season and this month has been no exception. Our collection for Autumn sees lots of brand new products including furniture as well as accessories. Plenty of supersoft throws, cushions and rugs to cosy up with, my favourite of which have to be our bestselling Kuba Berber Rugs which we now have in two bigger sizes. Supersoft as well as right on trend for any Scandi inspired interior, I'm coveting one for in front of the fireplace - all I need to do now is persuade the puppy not to eat it (any tips most welcome!)
We also have plenty of new storage ideas - natural wicker baskets are a key trend for this season and perfect for throwing all the extra blankets in, woven cotton baskets which are a great size for toys, shoes and general 'clutter' and laundry bags which can hang up or fold flat when not being used (sadly never going to happen in this household!)
As we've been working on our Christmas (sorry!) collection and shooting all things twinkly since July I have no choice but to be getting just a tiny bit excited about some of the glitz and stars currently lying around the office! Yes I know it's technically way too early to be mentioning the festive season but in order for us to have everything present and correct in plenty of time for our lovely customers we have had no choice this week but to unpack all the boxes of sparkle (it can be a really tough job at times!) - all I can say is it's going to be a beautiful affair reminiscent of a Scandinavian Wonderland, definitely a story for another day! Oh and there will be glitter ... lots of it! To give you just a taste we unanimously agree that these XL Iron Stars which are from Tine K Home can be used all year round to stunning effect.
I hope you'll enjoy browsing the new collection which will also continue to include lots of our original Vintage Hungarian Furniture . The mix of these older pieces with the natural materials and tactile fabrics of the new range create the ideal backdrop for a 'Hygge' home, a warm and inviting interior so natural to our Danish friends and perfect for this time of year.
